  Currently the youngest living in the fox shrine, Ten is the most immature out of all those in the Shrine. Although he doesn't have bad intentions, his has a habit of being too direct and saying things without thinking. Whenever he slips up, he often gets hit by Ada so he's trying to control what he says nowadays. Ten is rather naive about the world having been rarely let out of the shrine in his younger year; due to this, he has an obsession with modern technology and video games. He is in charge of preparing meals, cleaning and maintaining the shrine for Ada. Because of his work, he is rather good at home economics.

Often following his instincts over common sense, He is usually overthinking on simple matters. His academics may not be great, but his usually happy go lucky attitude gets him through tough times. Ten's playfulness is often in conflict with his large sense of duty for his job. He doesn't like to be excluded in anything or to be considered 'too young' (but he is.) Often he will overreact to a given situation due to his lack of understanding. He considers his most redeeming quality to be his diligence to continue on (although he will complain the whole time.) All in all, Ten tries to be friendly to everyone but he will openly hate someone if he doesn't like them.

▪ History ▪

  Ten was born at the fox shrine, where his family has resided for generations. Under the watchful eye of the next head: Ada the Delphox, he works at the shrine and as a personal slave for Delphox. Due to the large amount of workers resigning and decline in visitors, Ten was expected to support the main family in every way he could, devoting his life to the shrine. Although the years of experience meant the work wasn't hard, Ten longs for freedom and to do interesting and 'fun' things like becoming an astronaut or playing at the arcade, but they aren't letting him get away :')

Ever since he was young, Ten was raised alongside his cousin Delphox. Having been raised by his Aunt and Uncle instead of his parents who went on a spiritual pilgrimage and hasn't returned since, the members of the main family are his closest relatives. Since he was from the branch family, he did not have any harsh upbringing or training. However when many of the shrine keepers began to run away or resign, the pressure for him to stay became heavier and he was taught more and more on how to help run the shrine. With barely anyone left, Ten feels a sense of responsibility for the shrine although he hides it with his constant ranting about wanting to leave. He may seem to dislike his work, but he is actually really proud of how they have managed.

Ten cleans the shrine daily as well as preparing and writing the fortunes slips. Occasionally he does Delphox's work as well as preparing meals for the two of them.
